Time is not standing still at Robohand. While we are waiting for Makerbot’s arrival and the anticipation of the Robofinger coming off the production line now in March, it has been suggested by our Occupational Therapists that babies from the age of two should already be wearing their Robohand.
Richard is busy experimenting with the scaling of the Robohand so see how small we can go before we run into functionality issues. However, we would require specialist screws that are so tiny to put together this baby Robohand that it may not be a viable option.
But, thanks to the innovative Replicator 2 3D printer, we can prototype and scale without any concerns.
